Abstract: The theory of spatial epistemology points to an approach of forging topical relevancy with geography (space) as the core. With this as a guide, CHMap builds a platform and operation interface on the basis of two technical frameworks of WMTS and IIIF. The adoption of the two technical frameworks, enables the cross-platform use of land military survey topographic maps for one thing; and facilitates the connection of these maps with other maps and image systems from a geographic (spatial) perspective. So as to provide a set of systematic solutions centered on users (researchers), content-based, involving maps, images, geographic information data, and including display, sharing, interaction, and cross-platform utilization.
