Abstract: With its massive literature resources and free services,the Modern History Database Platform has taken place in the market where commercial databases are abundant. Modern History Database Platform has created a fair academic environment between schools, between researchers and history lovers, and between domestic and foreign countries, which has been particularly evident during the COVID-19 period. In addition to creating a convenient database, the Modern History Database Platform continuously explores a new model of public benefit and open academic database serving society by mining historical documents collected by folk and carrying out history teaching activities for middle school students. Relying on the solidsupport of the country,this platform gradually breaks between information technology and historical documents, database and history between the researchers and the barriers between literature databases. It cultivates interdisciplinary talents with both historical background and primarycomputer drive. With the
help of full-text retrieval technology power,through the underlying logic to realize data sharing, this platform eliminates the " knowledge monopoly" caused by the commercial database and better serves society. All these will become the goal of the public benefit open academic database represented by the Modern History Database Platform.
